We did some experiments on GCD measurements using sodium sulfate electrolyte. The supercapacitor is based on PEDOT-PSS. The GCD was not possible. Does it need any electrolyte additive? if so what is the most common electrolyt additive?
Melkie Getnet Tadesse, Tetraethylammonium tetrafluoroborate (TEABF4) or other tetraalkylammonium salts, such as tetramethylammonium tetrafluoroborate (TMAFBF4) and tetrapropylammonium tetrafluoroborate (TPAFBF4), are frequently employed as electrolyte additives. Supercapacitors commonly utilize electrolytes such as sulfuric acid (H2SO4, potassium hydroxide (KoH), and sodium hydroxide (NaOH).
