Dear Researchers,

I have an experiment where fingerlings/juveniles of tilapia in aquaria are challenged with some bacteria to assess colonization and more for only 2 weeks.

I am quite indecisive on what to feed them in this period so that they don't die of hunger before the end of the experiment.

I thought of giving them Artemia salina larvae but I am not sure whether juveniles will be able to see them and feed on.

On the other hand I'm thinking that feeding them commercial feeds might significantly affect the water quality and force me to renew water before the end of the experiment, which is unwanted.

What do you suggest ? Or can they survive this period without feeding? Or other feeds (please name it)

I look forward to reading from the audience

Best Regards,

Gildas
