What is the mechanism behind a one step cDNA kit using gene specific primers. I intend to use it for gene expression study. But i am confuse if the pcr product from this reaction can be used as a template cDNA for qPCR analysis using SYBR green dye. if so, how do we go about this without losing the nucleic acid extracted.

One step RT-PCR consists of cDNA synthesis and polymerase chain reaction process in the same tube. If we planned to carry out this type of PCR, we must use the specific primers for specific genes, and it gives genes expression pattern. Further, we can’t use these samples for further PCR analysis, because of its end product of PCR. It is easy, time-consuming and accuracy, but need more mRNA
