scientists are obliged to compete for the necessary resources to carry out research, publish the results as soon as possible, with a view to greater scientific recognition in the subject studied; Only in this way can new sources of funding be secured for future research. This pressure to publish has led some authors to fall into the error of lowering the ethical quality of investigations, in some cases leading to scientific fraud. In this sense, we must remember that the process of publishing an article is based on credibility, truth, authenticity and scientific honesty .
What is the integrity of the investigation?

Persons who do the investigations should possess a high standard of integrity. Integrity means the quality of the person to be honest, truthful and have strong moral principles, or moral uprightness.
Investigators are supposed to operate with a high level of integrity. Means one must be able to rise above any kind of favoritism and should focus objectively on the facts of the case undertaken.

Investigating with integrity sometimes becomes self-inflicted longer hours of tedious analysis.
Integrity is essential to the functioning of the research enterprise and personally important to the vast majority of those who dedicate their lives to science. Yet research misconduct and detrimental research practices are facts of life. They must be understood and addressed. Misconduct in science can be defined as “fabrication, falsification, or plagiarism in proposing, performing, or reporting research”
Basically, there are two types of researchers. The researchers of the A type they seek funding, which almost never or very difficult to find, to do research in an ethical, honest and free way to satisfy their curiosity and for the benefit of humanity. Researchers of the B type do research to obtain funding as managing finance means having power. Because, for many justified reasons, funding is ultimately provided by political power, industry, foundations, etc. according to the researchers of the B type the results of the research must be in tune with the wishes of the funders in such a way as to satisfy the funders and obtain new financing.
