Currently we are doing work on metal oxide nanopartickes in powder form. Now we are plan to study the dielectric property our powder samples. So we need information what are the importance or usage to study the dielectric property what are techniques are available to take this studies . wheather the powder form is enough or need to form any pellet.
Also give the reference articles related to dielectric studies like dielectric loss , tan delta , impedance ,q factor , figure of merit and related to that
It is worth to do two kinds of tests: on compressed powder samples and on emulsions made of insulating paraffin oils and the particles, perhaps composites consisting of insulating polymer matrix (e.g. LDPE) and the powder. From these data you can draw conclusions on the bulk properties of your particles. In the composite samples you should try to achieve agglomeration-free dispersion of the particles.

To run experiment for determining its dielectrical properties, you have to use the LCR HITESTER in the frequency region of 50 Hz–5 MHz or 10 Hz - 13 MHz.
