If we consider a two component BEC, in such regime, the solitonic solutions leads to the formation of a bound state. This bound state formation occurs only when one component follows dark soliton and other one is bright soliton. My question is what is the importance of such bound state in the literature? By importance, I mean to say what are the applications of such bound states in BEC?

In short, BECs are unlikely to have any applications beyond the basic research in the near-to-mid term future. Will the BECs be useful for quantum computation or precision measurements or complex condensed-matter emulations any time soon? Hard to tell now.
As for bound states in particular, bound states can be quite stable, since the interaction energy in a bound state is less than the total energy of each separate soliton. Will the stability of complex states be useful in any before-mentioned applications? Maybe.

Thank you very much for the reply. And many thanks for the link. It gives a details explanation. Recently, I was reading a few papers on the bound state formation in the BEC system. Thats why I was wondering why bound state is important. Why people are interested in bound state solution. Its true that the interaction energy in a bound state is less than the total energy of each separate solitons. Then, the question naturally comes what happened in case of bound state of two component BEC, where both intra and inter-species interactions are present. If the two component are described by the dark-bright soliton pair, and if in some parameter regime (interactions parameter), they form a bound state then what will happen?
