Recently, Ethiopia formed strategic relations with Somaliland a move viewed as a disdain to Somalia's sovereignty. Ethiopia has also been in conflict with Egypt and Sudan over the Nile River. Internally, Ethiopia has been undergoing a grave civil war, supported by the Eritrea against its own.
With this recent move to Somaliland, China has loudly pronounced that it recognizes Somalia's sovereignty (see in the lens of China and Taiwan).
So what is the implication?
