Cocculus pendulus is very important medically, but it has a negative impact on plants that climb them. Through my field missions I recorded this effect, so I want a scientific paper that describes the adverse effect caused by the climbing plants and choke. What is the impact of Cocculus pendulus on plants that climb them? And what is the environmental impact of Cocculus pendulus on plant genetic resources?

There is circumstantial evidence of damage on Zizyphus and of larval hood for citrus moth. In selected areas I guess it can be raised on poles with frames to pharmacological purpose
It is well known that Cocculus pendulus use the trees as supports and then its
branches spread completely over the entire host plant preventing
it access to sunlight for photosyntesis. It is reported that eventually such trees die
as result of strangling by the climber species.
Owing to its high medicinal value, I agree with Guido Bongi that it can be raised on poles for commercial pharmacological purpose.
