Explosion of big data in information system seems to change how company utilitize their business intelligence. Combining structured and unstructured data to be process and give a better decision making from predictive and prescriptive analytic point of view.Business intelligence tends to organize more complex data algorithm and method from data warehousing,data mining , visualization, prediction and soon.what do you think will be the impact of big data in an organization from your experience or opinion?
Of course, there is an explosion of big data in information system in all organinizations. There must be an organization of information technology so as to support the major functions and activities.

Yes too much good things! BUT GIGO and should be organized in order to be so beneficial.
I think the rapid SE approaches are required for BI development more than in the past. With huge volume and complex structure of the obtained data, playing with them right or wrong will need to be quick.
the impact might be high but for many big data collections a selection bias might result and your results may not explain the population who should be described; this depends, of course on the subject. E.g. mobile telefone data for neighborhood statistics may include a selection bias, because you may reach only a part of the population and people may have more than one mobile phone - what is the inclusion probability then for a person? So, there are many examples that big data include also a lot of problems which are not easy solvable.
You are asking for impact of big data, business is using big data for long. geodemography, spatial demography have been put to what uses else than knowing demographic profiles of consumers to sell goods and services accordingly at any spatial scale from global to neighbourhood. Banks don't establish their branches and ATM and business and trade don't open their outlets in a small locality unless they know everything from geography, connectivity, social capital, income level etc. from big data.
Earlier, it used to be market surveys, which are still in use to fill in gaps, now it is big data which is doing the trick to lure and making persons afflicted with consumption.
Business Iuntelligence is mainly for the usage of Big data.
Mainly in any BI tool there is something called the BW Business Warehouse. While is typically as the data warehouse that stores every single data to be later on transformed into information with any kind of visualization tool.
Note that BI aids as well in mining the data you have so here comes the role of decision makers...

Yup heba ive tried sap bw and bi goes along with functional sap, great tool but uneasy to learn.
