Now a days, we read many cases of corruption in higher education. Hardly a week pass and we hear one or other instance of corruption in higher education. Mostly it relates to corruption in admissions, examinations, evaluations, affiliations and recognition , teacher absenteeism from classes and many more. What do you think is the extent of corruption in higher education in your region/country?

In India and some other countries, I have a similar experience with an article to be published in a scientific journals with low fee (charge). This journal (online access) has accepted my article without any reviewing and in the same day of submission, which I am sorry to see such a behavior. Therefore, sure, the same style for postgraduate studies. I think, this could be overcome and minimized by accreditation of the syllabus and university by higher education ministry as journals by impact factor.
