Zinc and aluminum should have the same behavior due to the evolution of hydrogen in the alkaline environment of concrete. In both cases, the concrete must foam. But you can have powder particles of different sizes. To remove hydrogen you need to mix well. You can experiment with particle size and concentration, mixing.
