Can you get more specific? I assume you mean serious games as educational tools in science learning, but there's loads of work in that area, so you're going to have to be more specific. Biological science? Computer science? What type of science? And do you mean when they arrive at college, or on the training while in college?
It depends on the degree of students attachment to the games and the individual charcter of each students
Mostly good students donot neglicte their studies to participate into game in the trend however those how are already careless would seek any source of distraction to escape from their duties , consequently, will addict these games and causes furthur detoriation in their academic level
Ah I see. So as a distraction from their studies, not as a tool for learning. I'm afraid I don't know much about that side of things, sorry. I don't imagine it's any worse than any other hobby or past-time students may spend time on when they're not studying, but I don't know the figures.
If it's about the college students, I don't think it hugely affects the students. College students tend to keep themselves busy by doing various activities while keeping the studies aside if they are not serious. But if it's about the school students then the whole scenario changes, if a school student is addicted to games s/he has more probable to get low grades.
