LD and HD are miscible typically, but by the change in some molecular properties of LD(such as their short chain branches content and ...),its miscibility would be affected.
I want to know the final influences of blend miscibility on the silane grafting quality.

As you surely know,all different type of ethylene polymer are compatible with each other.
they are often miscible in solid state phase too, but melt miscibility is another story.
according to this fact that grafting occurs in melt state,we will understand the importance of investigation of it(Melt Miscibility)
In silane grafting in LD/HDPE blends, the degree and extent of grafting will be more in LD phase... due to lower viscosity, short chains etc.
More uniform grafting can be achieved by using either LDPE-g-MA or HDPE-g-MA rather than pristine PE.
Not all polyethylenes are compatible, only a few are miscible, polymers are not solids but liquids, regardless they are at room temperature.

Besides LDPE & HDPE, there is also (LLDPE) as you know. LLDPE is the best for silane grafting compared to the two. As for the two other polyethylenes, a lower molecular weight of polyethylene with narrower molecular weight distribution causes more efficient silane grafting and this will be on LDPE regions.
In grafting, you will need to mix the blend with silane/peroxide solution (a peroxide such as DCP, i.e. dicumyl peroxide) & all of them are better be miscible to facilitate the "needed" grafting.
