I conducted the Kinetic Experiment with cochineal

dye on wool fabric mordanted with different metal ions such as copper (+2),

aluminum (+3), chrome (+6) and Tin (+2). My result shows a different rate constant for copper

and somewhat similar rate constant for Alum, Tin and chrome. Is there is any chemistry involved that

might be helpful in explaining this?
