Ground or earth in a mains (AC power) electrical wiring system is a conductor that provides a low-impedance path to the earth to prevent hazardous voltages from appearing on equipment. (The terms "ground" and "earth" are used synonymously here.

Really its a new concept for me!But have few answers...................

If it is perfectly earthed then there is no voltage

diffance between earth & neutral that means it will be Zero

in all condition.

voltage bw earth and nuetral is 100 to 200 milli volts if

it is perfect earthing

voltage b/w phase and earth is 230 volt for all phases

voltage b/w phase and neutral is varied from 220 to 230 v

it depends up on the phase balance conditions
