Hi everyone!

I'm a student in biochemistry and I need some help for a lab report.

We have analyzed volatile terpenes (myrcene, humulene, caryophylene and limonene) in hops by GC-MS and HPLC. The results of the GC-MS make sens, but those of the HPLC are really not good (too much higher). Why is there a difference between the results of the GC-MC and HPLC? We also used limonene, and in the report, we need to explain why. We have three standard curves, one for limonene, one for humulene and one for caryophyllene, but not for myrcene. I'm not sure to really understand how to explain the limonene role.

Please help-me, and forgive me for my bad english!
