These two can feature in your literature review depending on what you are writing on?
A research paper is based on original research, mean it is your own data and A review article or review paper is based on other published articles mean secondary data.
I think the research article and research paper are both same. You have to conduct your own research. on the other hand, the review paper is different from research. Here, you will do research on other's findings. you don't need to collect data and analyze it.
And, of course, you can use research paper and review paper both for your literature review.
