What is the difference between Cyber-Physical-Systems (CPS) and Smart Products?

Definition of Smart Products (according Michael Abramovici, CIRP):

Smart Products are cyber-physical products/systems (CPS) which additionally use and integrate internetbased services in order to perform a required functionality.

Does that mean that the INTERNET-Service is the only difference? What if the Service is via Intranet? Or via Bluetooth? Where is the exact difference?

Thanks & best regards
