What is the difference between “compute” and “prediction” in the “neuralnet” package?

I have 7 inputs and 1 output. i want to predict my output variable called "mande" with neuralnet function in R. My codes are :

I tried the code "compute(net,test.data[-8])$net.result" . are the results the prediction of variable "mande"? if yes, the problem is that some of them are negative which feel nonsense!

any help is appreciated. Thanks
