A research paper is a manuscript that explains and discusses novel idea or contribution of a recent progress for a particular topic using specified approach. In addition, it aims to conduct and report a detailed original research study.
Whereas a review paper is about analysis compares and combines the findings of existing published literature on a specific topic. It does not report any original research or a new finding, in fact, is about summarizing the contents of research papers.
