Given that Wikipedia, Wordnet, etc. are great resources; others, such as BabelNet, have been built with objectives of adding value, such as word senses, multilingual capabilities, etc.

In my initial research, I have discovered initiatives such as the Lemon Model and Linguistic Linked Data, but it appears that these initiatives have "run out of steam". I say this because websites covering them do not appear to be up to date. Are there any post-BabelNet major initiatives?

As an independent researcher, I find it difficult to get a handle on the current state of the art. My particular interest is to find cloud-based ontologies that provide not only word senses but also support for semantic analysis - something akin to FrameNet. (FrameNet also seems to have run out of steam).

I would be most interested in implementations that are based on the newer graph databases, such as Neo4j - but this is a secondary aspect.

What am I missing?
