Obtain ECG data acquisition using 2 electrode placement is not easy because low signal to noise ratio and high electromagnetic interference but data acquisition can using ADS analogue.
In a 12-lead ECG, there are 12 leads calculated using 10 electrodes., obtaining ECG acquisition using only two electrode will not be accurate, Kindly see the Rapid ECG interpretation by Gabriel Khan for more signal to noise ratio and magnetic field interference..
Thanks Amandeep. The coment from Ashfaq is correct. The accuracy is low in the 2 lead conformation and only really useful for rhythm (think Apple Watch). The leads can be anywhere on the body but would be better placed spanning the heart.
2 lead ECG is not as sensitive to detect Ischaemic or Arrythmia as compared to 12 lead ECG when need of acute emergency arises in clinical setting. Useful for sinus rhythm analysis
