Hey everyone,
I am trying to use the Optical Strain Measurement program provided by Mathworks.com to measure the strain my polymer sample endures under tension. I follow the instructions up to the point of initialization. When initializing, the user must "click the center of the left slope, then the center of the right slope of the intensity profile in window (B)." The graph seems to change drastically based on the placement of these points so it is paramount that I know what they actually mean. Can anyone who has used this program explain this to me or diffuse some of the jargon? I have provided the original StrainMeasurement zip file from taken from the website and a picture of my window before initializing.
