The strong commitment of a person to learn a foreign language, independently of the country they live, helps them to find the efficient way to achieve it.
Watch how-to videos on the language; try and learning a vocabulary or construct a sentence everyday. Finally, mingle with people who speak that language.
Learning a new language may seem intimidating at first, but if you are dedicated you can succeed! There are lots of fun ways to help you learn a language in no time!
Watching translated movies through which the learner would be showered with the target language vocabulary. The more frequently the learner is introduced to the target language, the faster and the easier it is for him/ her to acquire it.
It is also a good idea to have a tutor who can facilitate and explain some of the target language rules, grammar, spelling, word stress, and the articulation of some sounds, especially when the learner is a novice who has not practiced the language before.
Moreover, practicing the spoken target language with native speakers of that language, in later and more advanced levels, is a good idea to master the language and speak it fluently.
As with learning in general, if you don’t know already, first try to find out *how* you best learn things and what learning methodology or methodologies seem to work for you. Then learn more about the language(s) you are trying to learn — how similar or different it is from your native language and the languages you already know well, what its grammar and structure are like, etc. Then I would invest in some popular textbooks and reference materials like a two-way dictionary, frequency dictionary, etc., if you can and if available. Also, have realistic goals and think about the reason(s) why you’re studying this language. After you get a feel of the language, I would try to connect with native speakers in person or online using websites like iTalki and practice your weak areas you need to work on. Good luck!
What is the best way to learn a language by yourself?
Dear Rasha Jasim Al-Karawi:
Congratulations and thank you so much for asking this most important question. In this respect, I believe that the following approach can be an ideal one, in the classroom setting, in order for students to learn a language by themselves in the future:
1) Such methods are justified by Vygotsky's and Piaget theory of cognitive development, which focuses on social interaction and engagement in a meaningful learning.
2) Teaching materials, which settle on and make clearly visible to the students’ consciousness their textual, contextual, cultural, intercultural, and pragmatic convergence.
3) Using new technologies and internet resources to find and process information (ICT), as productive and recreational use of language, turns linguistic, intercultural, and digital from knowledge in one direction into transversal and more significant knowledge. In addition, such an approach provides an adequate guidance and cooperative group work that encourages the active participation of students and leads to their learning.
4) Students are equipped with the critical thinking, autonomy at work, and problem-solving skills necessary to assess challenges and implement creative solutions.
5) In the same way, these methods draw attention to the effective role of formative evaluation and self-assessment. This is partly because such assessment learning is grounded in some criteria-referenced tools to assess, on the one hand, teachers’ educational practice; and on the other, evaluate students' performance levels by means of which teachers can explore the strengths and weaknesses of both themselves and of their students, and accordingly tailor the content of their teaching materials and instruction strategies. More to the point, assessment criteria in Second Language Learning and Teaching, for example, primarily focus on the objectives and competences that the teacher of a class-group should promote in their students. Therefore, what methods will the teacher use for their students to develop these objectives and acquire these competences? To this end, he or she will use logically certain contents of learning through the respective elaboration of teaching units as a lesson plan. In this way, if the desired results in learning are not accomplished by these contents, then the teacher will have to determine why this learning has not been achieved, thus restructuring the whole process (feedback). In other words, assessment criteria in learning respond to “why” and “how” the teacher should have taught so that learners would have been able to learn “what.”
6) Students are engaged in purposeful and intellectual activities through social and skilled interaction, thus encouraging them to convey their creativity, since the definitive goal of learning is creating an independent learner.

Language learning is complex; because You’re dealing with four separate, yet linked skills – reading, writing, listening and speaking – which are in turn linked to thousands of separate, yet linked facts – grammar rules, vocabulary words, pronunciation rules, etc.
