Actually it is challenging to convert saturated fatty acids into polyester because it has only one carboxyl group.
Does anyone suggest an idea to convert fatty acid e.g lauric acid into polyester as soon as possible?
could I follow the attach file? the product is close to poly ester or not?

Yes. You can follow the procedure indicated in the attached article. The yield fo Poly vinyl laurate is very high (97%) which encourages the synthesis of this species following the mentioned procedure.
The structure of the product in experiment 15 is exactly the one desired (polyvinyl laurate).
