I'm aware of such Internet survey applications such as Google forms and Survey Monkey. Does anyone have experience using these or others to conduct surveys? If so, how do they compare? I'm interested in having data from the data from my surveys go directly to Excel or r for statistical calculations.

I use Survey Monkey most of the time. It is very user-friendly and convenient if you want to download directly the data to SPSS or Excel. However, the free version comes with a limited number of questions (10) and answers (100). I think you can still create a free account and upgrade it later on, without losing the work you have already done.
