Amlodipine is usually taken once daily at morning. For Allopurinol there is no such mandatory time for intake as far I know. As Allopurinol is suggested in gout to reduce the uric acid level, patients are suggested to take each medication dose with a full glass of water, to reduce the risk of kidney stones forming, drinking of 8 to 10 full glasses of fluid every day is highly reccomended.
I've a further suggestion about that medication. If the patient have type II hypertension along with gout or RA, the better antihypertensive effect is observed from using ARBs instead of amlodipine, whereas olmesartan is a good choice.
Amlodipine is usually taken once daily. Your doctor may occasionally change your dose to make sure you get the best results.
Your chest pain may become worse when you first start taking amlodipine or when your dose is increased. Call your doctor if your chest pain is severe or ongoing.
Amlodipine is only part of a complete program of treatment that may also include diet, exercise, weight control, and other medications. Follow your diet, medication, and exercise routines very closely.
If you are being treated for high blood pressure, keep using this medication even if you feel well. High blood pressure often has no symptoms. You may need to use blood pressure medication for the rest of your life.
Store amlodipine at room temperature away from moisture, heat, and light.
