The confusion that I am going through right now is how much area I should cover surrounding a study area such as, a community or a few fixed spots which will be granted in the science community. Generally, in aspect of Bangladesh, people tend to dump garbage somewhere near their home (rural areas), and in a fixed spot (executed through municipal authorities, in urban areas).

I would like to detect the land filling, dumping areas, and other forms of LULC. Expecting advice from the experts and thanks in advance researchers.
