There are different ways to measure cognitive skills of learners. 1. By asking learners question after exposing them to academic activities or any type of training. 2. By engaging learners in practical exercises, by so doing you evaluate the extent learning has occurred. 3. You engage learners in problem solving, monitor them and give a feedback. 4. Engage learners' in simple reasoning to ascertain the cognitive skills acquired in certain project work or coursework. There are more advanced ways such examination of varying degrees, use of psychological test, etc.
