My area of interest is estuarine benthic meiofauna

Are you intending to sample one-off (e.g. At a large number of places), or regularly at the same spots (monitoring)?

Monthly sampling, 7 stations for 2 years

and just the benthos, so not within sediments? I have little experience with marine / estuarine benthos

No infaunal benthos
