Dear Hossein,

Electrolyte having Perchloric acid is good but more harmful and hazardous. I have not used phosphoric acid electrolyte.

You can try

*) Electropolishing using 30% Nitric acid in Methanol. *) Electropolishing using 20% Perchloric acid in Ethanol.

You can Optimise the condition by carrying out trials at -30 to -20 C temperature and at voltage 12-20V.

The high temperature treatment (~590C) of Al-Mg alloys will lead to microstructural changes which are not desirable; because that in turn changes the properties of the sample.
