Dear Nanloh,

This kind of software for organizing and save bibliography references will be very useful when you are writing your research papers. It allows, for instance, a easy way to annotatte texts you read and, most of all, to cite them while you write. Mendele is an open software of that kind that you should/must try!

I have very good experience with the EndNote (package version). Besides managing references in any kind of writing (including PHD theses), EndNote libraries can be created while browsing for the current literature and become excelent tools for quick look through the relevant references, if downloaded with abstracts.

I think I couldn't write papers without EndNote anymore!

I use EndNote on a regular basis and have only positive experiences. However, this is a commercial tool you have to buy. There are other competing tools. There is a good list here
