Hi

I'd like to find the mean heat value of entalpy change in combustor. It is going about the equation:

qks=cp_mean*(Tt4-Tt3)=F*f*efic_c

where:

cp_mean - looking for mean heat value

Tt4, Tt3 - total temperature in combustor outlet and inlet

F- fuel heat walue

f - fuel/air ratio

efic_c - combustor efficiency.

In polish literature I found the relation

cp_mean= 908,9+0,2095 *(Tt4+0,48*Tt3)

I used this formula, but the results are to high in my opinion. For example for Tt3=1000K, Tt4=1800K, cp_mean=1387 J/kg/K

Who can propose something else to calculate cp_mean, or confirm that presnted formula is valid?
