I am doing my masters thesis in attitudinal factors determining herd behaviour in Nepal and I am not sure what research design should I use. The study will collect the opinion and perception of respondents through questionnaires and the independent variable will be hasty decision, decision accuracy and overconfidence while herd behaviour being the dependent variable. I am confuses whether the study will be cross sectional and descriptive or explanatory. Or are there any other methods that will be most appropriate.
