What happens in the salt bridge of Hg/HgO electrode?

My Hg/HgO electrode was used for EIS test in 4M NaOH solution. I found something in the salt bridge. After that, my EIS results found the noise at a low frequency (tested in a faraday cage). Please tell me, this thing affects my EIS results? and how to solute this problem?
