What factors influence the intensity of Raman peaks?
When I measure the Raman spectrum of my WSe2 monolayer and bilayer sample, I always found that there was a large difference in the intensity of the same peak in monolayer and bilayer samples. In other words, there seems to be a layer dependence of the peak intensity.
it is likely a simple concentration effect: the more molecules in the measurement volume the higher the intensity
The Raman intensity is mainly affected by four factors:
[1] Directly proportional to light source intensity
[2] Depends upon 1/ ( lambda^4) of the wave length of the source.
[3] Concentration of the sample or
Number of molecules
[4] Scattering properties of the sample.
In your case, the first three factors remain the same. So the last factor should make the difference because mono layer and bi layer samples would cause different extent of scattering.
有道理。看来不完全是层数的事。这和紫外可见光谱和红外吸收光谱不是一回事。吸收光谱的话，光是透过的，所以和层数应该成正比。但散射光谱应该不是那么回事。乍一看这个问题好像无厘头，其实里面的事情还真不少。
