During the last five years or so the usage of phrase "Climate Change" is more popular than "Global Warming". Doe this reflect any scientific rationale or change of deliberate strategy to serve certain business interests?
I think that there was a general consensus that "climate change" was more accurate than "global warming," because local patterns of rainfall and temperatures are predicted to change in ways that create novel climate regimes. The term "global warming" really spoke to the average global change, rather than local trends. I believe that there was a sense that using climate change instead of global warming might galvanize local action as people could see weather changes locally, but not necessarily "warming" per se. And, if memory serves correctly, the drive was motivated more by climate scientists, and not by business interests. However, there have been sociological studies that have shown "global warming" to be a more effective term when trying to motivation individuals to action, at least in the US. Climate change has certainly been co-opted by business in an effort to debunk the science.

Pati is correct. Models predict that certain regions of the world will be experiencing increased rainfall (Canada for instance), while most of Southern Africa is predicted to become drier." Climate change" encompass all kinds of weather events, such as extreme weather events (Cyclones, storms, floods). It is for this reason that it is the favoured term in the scientific community.
Besides global warming and global climate change there is one more term named green house effect also. This latter term was much popular in decade of nineties of the twentieth century. Thereafter came the term global warming and now the term climate change. Green house effect causes global warming and the global warming in turn causes climate change. In my opinion green house effect and global warming are purely scientific terms. As far as the climate change is concern it is much broader term which includes the subjects of humanities stream also like economics, sociology, political science, international relations, law etc.
The issue of pollution has a destructive role in the process of global warming, as reading the thermal island is fluctuating between the city and countryside, which is the most logical measurement and the naked eye without the use of any device
