The researcher must have a sense of responsibility while collecting data and maintaining the secrecy to the personal and sensitive information shared by the respondents. Adhering to code of conduct and ethics is important in every field. Ethical research is doing research without any unfair practices and not resorting to plagiarism. For research ethics is of utmost importance. But sadly few people have found new tactics to manipulate plagiarism.

There are several levels of doing research where ethics plays an essential part. One level involves the investigator’s integrity. Here there is where the motive for doing the research has a key place and fidelity to honest compliance with methodological demands has a key place. This is solely about the researcher’s moral excellence. Other levels involve The researchers’ relationship with others. For example, honesty with funding sources about the goal of the research, detailed accounts of materials and methods to the degree the source requires. Honest reports of progress, problems and failures to the degree the source requires. If human beings are the subjects and participant, observation alone may only require respect for privacy. Interaction with subjects and exposing them to causes will likely require well Informed voluntary consent. Risks of harm and risks/benefit ratios cannot be determined by investigators. Economic and social rewards are too appealing for objective assessment to be made. There are duties to collaborators, staff members, and animals.
We have to do our research ethically for sure. It’s about integrity.

Not all researchers do follow the ethical principles. That is a fact, and it is the same kind of fact as that not all people follow the law and there are always those who violate it. There are a variety of reasons why researchers don't follow the ethical principles. Perhaps they don't know that what they are doing is wrong. Or they do know, but they do the wrong thing any way because there is pressure on them, such as the need to get their results published.
