For me, e-learning is complementary to in-person education. In e-learning, there is no interaction between the student and the professor, and it is not possible to distinguish the individual differences between the student, but it is positive to deliver the material to the largest number of students, while in the in-person education, the greater the number of students, the more difficult it is to deliver the material to them.
he view that e-learning is only complementary to face-to-face education is very limited. In e-learning there is synchronous and asynchronous interaction, it is possible to carry out diagnostic assessments to understand the differences between students in addition to allowing to take the opportunity of education to geographically distant places far from large educational centers.
The big problem of e-learning is in the exaggerated attendance of the number of students, in this way a teacher for many students makes the work difficult and consequently reflects on the quality.
The big hoax of e-learning is the illusion that a material reaches a larger number of students faster. I have been using computer and interactive table in teaching geography to students between the ages of 11 and 19 for at least 12 years. From March 11, 2020 to May 14, 2021, we mainly used the online teaching strategy, both synchronous and asynchronous. I made a few teaching experments and I wrote a book about them.
My conclusions:
1- The presentation of visual materials, models and documents with the help of the computer and the interactive whiteboard is productive, but only if it is combined with the direct interaction in the classroom of the teacher with the students. If they present a documentary video longer than 10 minutes, at least half of the students will not pay attention and will just wait for time to pass.
2 - Synchronous online classes are effective for seminar-type classes, with a small group of students (maximum 10), which show an intrinsic motivation for the topic.
3 - The materials distributed for individual study were effective in at most 25% of students
4 - Online evaluation has very serious limitations
5 - The motivation of students (the essential fuel in education) has decreased dramatically during the online lessons, because in the class of students there is also a subtile process of co-construction, through direct contact student-student and student-teacher, as part of the larger process of the social learning.
The efficiency of education is not only measured statistically / quantitatively, but especially qualitatively. In vain a course reaches from one teacher to 100 students simultaneously, if only a small part of them are attentive, and the majority do not assimilate anything.
I believe that e-learning is the new trend in quality teaching and learning. It is one of the most needed skills this 21st century as it primarily uses technology in acquiring learning and information. Both teachers and students should be equipped in the usage of various learning tools and LMS (learning management systems) which aid both towards a conducive teaching and learning environment.
It negatively affected the quality of education, especially in Arab countries, as they do not have the ingredients and requirements for this type of education

E-learning is a kind of learning system that is based on structured instruction but utilizes electronic resources. While education may take place in or out of the classroom, the primary component of E-learning is the use of computers and the Internet.
Agreed that e-learning is supplementary or complementary to traditional education that require physical engagement or interactions in the class. Through my experience as a part-time student once, we seldom meet our tutors/lecturers or supervisors. It is good to have e-Learning in-place. E-Learning did saved us a lot of time, money and effort. Interface only happened when there is a concrete requirement to do so, for example, to discuss about the thesis, serious issues that disrupt your progress, etc. Since my Master of Education program is ICT based, I never see e-Learning as an issue at all. I think, the main issue about e-Learning is the question of accessibility to the Internet and the ICT infrastructures. I dare to say that not everybody has the same opportunity to e-Learning due to lack of infrastructure etc., especially in remote areas. Thanks.

I think that e-learning has imposed itself strongly, especially after the Corona pandemic and resorting to distance education or teaching students while they are at home, and I can summarize my opinion on e-learning as follows:
1- Education requires a qualified teacher.
2- Education needs an infrastructure.
3- It requires a student with a high motivation to learn.
E-learning is a useful approach to learning especially when the instructors and students are in remote locations
E-learning is only effective when you want to absorb a lot of information through various international platforms. However, an in-class (face-to-face) environment brings you to critical thinking when you interact with various colleagues and peers and share ideas on different topics.

I think of e-learning as the latest trend in the TL process. Learning within the four walls of the classroom is extended beyond where students are to be independent and lifelong learners. With the plethora of technological information and resources, learning now will be easier and faster and will likewise be for the teacher.
E-learning is all about interest and zeal for learning. Every student is ready to learn the only thing one has to keep in mind is how interestingly the matter is presented. What is area of interest is taken care of when the class is delivered.
In the present time education system has seen a revolutionary change where e-learning has become a vital part of teaching-learning process. Majority of the educational institutes have adopted blended learning approach where the face to face classroom learning is supported by e-learning. However still many institutes and teachers need to quip themselves with the skills of e-learning for better outcomes.
In principle, eLearning is an excellent means of ensuring the continuity of classes and lectures at times of emergency and crisis as was the case of the Pademic. It, however, has its cons especially when it is implemented in regions that lack the necessary infrastructure. Then, it could the sources of castrophic experiences for students and professors alike.
