Yuval Harari, author of "Sapiens" published recently a new book : "Homo Deus: A Brief History of Tomorrow"

In it he states that in the forthcoming century humankind will strive for immortality, perennial happiness and divinity.

Three questions:

1. How could this forecast be achieved? (or not?)

2. Why with what we know today it sounds unreachable?

3. Which could be the downsides of reaching such unlikely goals?

(e.g. would it be gratifying to live forever?)
