The only way of equipping future generations is to help them tap into their creative wisdom. Here lies the importance of educational technology in teaching and learning. The aim of Edtech is to improve education and by using technology we seek to improve teaching and learning processes. Gadgets play a vital role in the educational field in order to improve their skills and knowledge and educational technology provides benefits such as organization, efficiency, collaboration, communication, extra help, virtual experiences etc on a positive side but on a negative side, it has lead to 'commodification of education'. The poor find it difficult to have a good quality education as it is not accessible to them.

In the era we live, technology shapes the world and controls our lifestyles as almost all sides of life have been impacted by technology. According to my experience in education field, integrating technology in classroom and learning environment is a must.
However, technology alone will not change education, as teachers are expected to utilize it appropriately to enrich learning environment in order to engage students. Hence, Educators should be aware of how they will use it optimally.

The challenge now is the adaptation of professors and educators. It is necessary to change the mindset and apply this technology available in the process.
