This is something I witness regularly.  When teachers are not satisfied with their own life, their teaching suffers.  I see it at my own school and I have seen it happen to my own children.  They both had the same teacher in 5th grade, two years apart.  The eldest experienced a wonderful year, but the teacher was going through a divorce and having personal issues at home when my younger son had her, and the difference was so shocking, I pulled him from her class midway through the year.

Yes, such a teacher can experience burnout that would affect the quality of teaching. Perhaps, it's time for him.her to begin thinking about flexible learning environments that include e-learning, blended learning, flipped learning, and mobile learning as discussed in the attached to address the distance issue.

Life satisfaction cannot be categorized only in one area .Satisfaction is natural inner urge for every human beings of every categories as satisfaction derives as the natural urge from the within from every human beings when he remain satisfied with this with his life action ,whatever may be his professional he is to give justice to his assignment as his satisfaction has a direct reflection of his mind &his everyday action of his life.

Life satisfaction is different of every categories of person .Satisfaction may be from the parents,children ,family ,study ,personal marriage life ,success in business & finance,profession ,Success in his personal interest & various such other areas where a person can be involved get himself satisfy with his life.

With this satisfaction ,his behavior,with his associated group,his working environment & what ever may be his professional career ,his action are bound to offer a satisfactory result .

I think that if the teacher is really love (crazy) in his teaching, he may try to perform good lectures although he may has less satisfaction.

Other people should impress to Teachers who are Utmost Important Players of Education. 

Teachers selected their life for very appreciable Professional.

Teachers cannot be Boss. However, they rich Great Pleasure that gained from their students due to Positive Impacts of their teaching.

So,there is needed to support the Teachers for their Life Satisfactions. 

The example from Sydney speaks volumes. This is where the principal has a role to play and replace the unhappy teacher. There has to be some monitoring of poor performance by teachers for whatever reason. The pupils deserve the best.

Right, Michael, The role of Principal (Rector) is very important in Education.

I think that this problem applies quite generally, not only for teachers.
