What do you think about Narrative Medicine?

What I really want to know is whether you use Narrative Medicine in the training of medical and nursing students and in which way do you use it.

Hi Lola,

I don't specifically teach narrative medicine to our nursing students - but I'm pretty sure that it is both explicit and implicit within our undergraduate curriculum. For instance, we teach and evaluate skills related to 'bedside manner' - such as effective communication, empathy, understanding, advocacy, efficacy, effectiveness, governance etc
