Frugal innovation is meant as the reduction in terms of the cost of production and the complexity of processes so as to enable the target customers to satisfy their demand for a product or service of utility.

In my opinio, Frugal innovation (FI) is a kind of innovation in which the aim is to develop effective solutions with few resources. In that sense, FI is different to traditional innovacion, because it requires the simplification of processes, products and services while it adds the highest value as possible.
