like my study area is Bhadrak city,which is in Bhadrak district,Odisha,India.how will i get outline boundary of my study area?
if you know the place you carrying out your studies from, just do a physical transect walk and collect coordinates with the GPS and then map it in Arc or Q-GIS. hope this would be possible.
You might try Google Earth to help visualize. I looked it up, there is a River and various roads and highways to considr as boundaries. The Avenza app. on Ipad with locator would show you site locations, lat long coordinates if you upload a georeferenced map and visit the area. If you have ArcMap of the area, export a georeferenced map into Avenza, and with your Ipad locator, you can see where you are. Also, if they have a post office, they may have a boundary map if you are unsure of the extent of the area.
