Recently the pesticide Intercept 70WG is banned, so we cannot use it to treat the compost before sowing arabidopsis seeds.
Does anybody know if any other legal pesticides can be used to protect the arabidopsis seedlings?

In our country they sell CONFIDOR 70 WG [Bayer] which seems to be very similar in composition to your Intercept 70 WG. There is also CAREO Combi which has an active ingredient with similar means of action (imidacloprid vs acetamiprid). However I would recommend to grow your plants in Jiffy tablets, which is much cleaner and easier than in soil and you dont need to worry about batch to batch consistency and insects and soilborne fungi.
