In order to analyze the displacement, an equipment that control the amount of displacement has to be used in the setup. Example, xyz translational stage. But this one limited to milli metre varition. I want to analyze the displacement in micrometer range. What is another equipment that can be used?

There are piezo-electric stages used in optical setups to achieve micrometer level positioning accuracies. These are called nanopositioners.
Alternately, if you looking only for the sensor, there is one sensor from HBM, Germany. It is inductive displacement sensor W1ELA/0 that has a +/-1mm range (+/- 1000um). Check if this suits your need. Best luck!

The former two people were basically right in what they are saying.
However, the detailed answer very much depends on your exact experimental conditions, how much money you have, for what purpose you wish the displacement sensor to work, forces?. What is the max. disüplacement range, what the resolution +/- 1µm?, in all directions x,y,z? Do you have engineering capacity to do it your self or would you need to buy one? Doeas it need to be manufactured? Space requirements: Under the microscope, in a free Laser Beam setup?

if you are looking for measurements to determine the accuracy of micrometer scale displacement , I suggest LVDT linear probe or laser interferometer.
if you want permanent setup which can give micrometer scale displacement, piezo is preferred.
You have to go for piezo-electric transducer for that. Once I used is a "Digital Displacement Indicator" along with piezo-electric LVDT transducer sensor, commercially available from "Recordtech Electronics, 40, Civil Lines, Roorkee, India".

LVDTs should work quite well in your application. They are not quite linear, but a polynomial calibration curve can be obtained with the aid of a micrometer (or gauge blocks). I've done just this with the E725 readout unit from www.rdpe.com .
