Males who have sex with males (MSM) are hidden in nature in many countries due to structural barriers such as religious prohibition, criminalization of same-sex behavior, heteronormative social norms, social stigma, etc. Hence, they are hard to reach. In a qualitative study, what can be the possible way(s) to reach them? I would like to move beyond traditional techniques (if possible) such as snowball/chain referral sampling, sexual network mapping, or RDS. Can I get any suggestion/advise/expert-opinion on this issue?
