Dear Researchers,

We can apply Strain ++ (https://jjppeters.github.io/Strainpp/) to measure strain in HRTEM images. This can be presented as strain maps wherein there is no data generated.

Besides, I am doing (manual) lattice distortion calculations using Gatan Digital Micrograph software. This is simply by calculating the lattice constant and comparing it with the ideal one as a reference.

My questions are:

Do you know how the images generated by Strain++ relate (if they do) to the manual lattice distortion calculations? More generally, what calculations is Strain++ performing to generate the images produced?
