With some of the latest discussion and evidence coming out that we are undertreating NSTEMI and overtreating STEMI (or misdiagnosing) I am thinking it may be time for a change to the way we teach this in the classroom.
Is anyone else having second thoughts? I am considering moving to OMI (occlusive myocardial infarction & ischaemia).
This would be a major shift in paradigm at our university and I am keen to connect with anyone else who has transitioned or is considering transitioning to a new way of thinking about ACS and its treatments (in particular for paramedics).
